By fully automated, unattended 24/7 testing the LTS-LTE call generator does away with poorly organized or documented manual testing, inefficient usage of testing time and poorly reproducible test results LTS drives real mobile terminals under stored program control for functional tests, generation of voice & data traffic, KPI measurement or in billing verification of the mobile network. Every test step performed and every resulting test verdict are retained in a database for test analysis. Almost any mobile type can be used with LTS, in particular state-of-the-art LTE data sticks. By using dedicated CPUs to drive small groups of terminals each, the system can be scaled up and extended as desired. LTS-LTE provides the following test features:
The call generator can be combined with our handover testing platform. The signal between base station and mobile is modified in amplitude and phase to simulate changing location and - important for MIMO - orientation of the mobile terminals. |

RF Guard Mobile Shielding SolutionAnother newcomer in our portfolio is the RF Guard shielding solution for individual terminals. Employed in laboratory setups, e.g. for call generation & handover tests within a lab network, the ultra-compact (16 x 11 x 6 cm) enclosure achieves an amazing 50 dB isolation from external networks for 2G, 3G, and 4G bands. The RF Guard enclosure provides 2 separate antenna connectors for MIMO terminals, and most importantly a filtered USB 2.0 connection to the terminal for remote operation and data transfer without compromising the screening performance. The USB power connection to the terminal can be interrupted by software command to enforce a reset or simulate a drop-out. 8 RF Guard units fit a single19” extractable shelf, consuming only 2U of rack space. Thus, the RF guard is perfectly suited to supplement our call generation and channel emulation equipment.

Find out about these products and more at MWC 2012 Barcelona from February 27th to March 1st in Hall 2, booth D49.
Daily from 18:00: Free beer event! After a long congress day come and discuss with us in relaxed atmosphere with a cool draft beer.
The Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona has been a great show and especially successful for Qosmotec.
We showcased a combined solution of our tools LTS and QPER joining
in one automated test platform.
Qosmotec attracted a lot of attention with its new and unique visual approach in channel emulation.
In particular Predicted Drive Testing using multipath scenarios based on city building data caught the attention of customers and strategic partners.
The messages were clear:
Qosmotec offers free trials of its easy-to-use and read-to-test (max. 10 minutes setup time) MIMO test equipment.
Thanks for visiting our booth and joining us for a fresh draft beer at the end of every day.
