LTS-P provides automatic testing and air interface
monitoring capabilities in a portable system, enabling
you to execute test & measurement sessions anywhere
at any time. Up to eight mobiles are controlled simultaneously
to execute test cases in conjunction. The synchronous
execution of tests with several mobiles in one system
also allows benchmarking of different mobiles or networks.
The set of test features comprises all functional
aspects, including a portable SIM server for inbound
roaming tests, RF monitoring capabilities, and tracing
on the Um/Uu layers 2 and 3 for GSM/GPRS/EDGE and
UMTS technology as well as for GSM-R applications.
The LTS-P setup is compact and convenient. Mobiles
are mounted in a suitcase with all interfaces easily
accessible for the user (SIM card slot, keypad) and
can be switched off and on under software control.
With a wireless connection to the test laptop, testing
and control unit are separated and totally devoid
of annoying cables, so that you have your hands free
for testing on the move.
During testing and monitoring sessions, time stamps
and GPS coordinates are taken, so that for each action
you can keep track of where and when it was performed
and replay your tests. All collected data are presented
in GUIs and can be exported for individual post processing.
